I Love Baby Goldfish!

We were in Utah for Jen's family reunion a few weekends ago and the kids were sharing some baby goldfish crackers. Grant was loving them.

Camping

We went camping with Jamie's family the end of July. Jen was worried about Grant eating everything and trying to jump in the fire. Grant had a great time. Our friendly guy had to visit all the neighboring campsites and say "hi" and got plenty dirty. He had a great time.

Like a moth to a flame. He actually did fall in, but luckily it was not hot at the time!

Happy 4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July with friends and family. We enjoyed a pancake breakfast at our church and went to Jamie's brother's house in the afternoon. The kids went swimming and we bbq'd and then enjoyed fireworks from their front yard. Grant didn't like the fireworks and slept through most of them.

Grant doesn't seem to like water these days...in the pool or in the tub.

Grant vs. The Easter Balloon

Remember that chick balloon Grant got for Easter? Well, he was nervous about it at first, but once it lost some air Grant started attacking it...he had a blast!

Even dad joined in the fun.

Happy 1st Birthday Grant

Grant had a great 1st birthday. We started the day with a few gifts from family and friends. Then we had a little gathering at the park and then when dad came home Grant had his first birthday cake. Complete with 2 naps and 2 baths...it was an exhausting day!

We brought cake pops for everyone to enjoy.

Grant did very well at the park and only ate some of the bark.

Grant tried some of the frosting, but doesn't like textures much and decided the plate tasted better than the actual cake!

Look at that...4 top teeth coming in all at once! Wow, that's a mouth full!!!

This Grass is Too Tall

The grass in our backyard was overgrown and while Grant did fine with the sand at the beach, he's not a fan of the grass...especially tall grass.

Finally he gets to the hammock and is rescued by dad.

Happy Easter

We had a great first easter with Grant. Here he is easter morning all ready for church. He looked so cute, but his shirt wouldn't stay tucked. This is right after I dressed him so he looks so cute and polished.

The easter bunny brought Grant a huge chick balloon and a mini giraffe pillow pet. He had to size up the balloon before he would touch it.

That afternoon we had some family and friends over for dinner and we had an egg hunt in the backyard. Grant wasn't sure what to do with the eggs, and isn't the biggest fan of grass so he stayed put.
