Little Bear Cub

Most of the time Grant doesn't like to crawl on his knees. He does this type of "Mogley" bear crawl with his legs straight and on flat feet. We caught a little bit of it on tape. I love it, it never gets old!

At the Park

We had some great weather last weekend and we took Grant to the park. He had a great time swinging and watching the other kids. He stayed in the swing for 35 minutes!

In To EVERYTHING

Grant is mobile, and loves to explore. You can see the excitement in his eyes as he sees something he wants, mostly to put it in his mouth.

He's got a power cord wrapped around his waist, and is climbing over a bag to get under a chair to get to his ball. He is a crazy little man!

Not only is he crawling, but he is already pulling himself up on things. He is extremely pleased with his quick progress.

Our Son Grant

Grant's adoption was finalized on Monday, January 3rd. After that we were able to have him blessed and sealed to us. We saw no reason to wait so we were sealed on January 15th and had him blessed a church the next morning. We were blessed to have our parents and many of our siblings and friends with us to celebrate and witness this wonderful occasion.

7-Months Old

Grant was 7 months old on January 2nd. He is almost crawling but can GI crawl and roll to get to where he wants to be. He is constantly scanning his surroundings and is very curious about everything. He can almost sit-up in a shopping cart and does just fine with the strap around his chest. He loves everyone and likes the freedom of being out of the car seat.

Grant's 1st Christmas

Grant had a great first Christmas. We were with Jen's family in Utah and although many of the cousin's were sick, and Jen got sick, Grant stayed healthy and happy!

Here are Grant's Christmas pajamas. Luckily his bottom wasn't bear, because it was cold!

He still isn't quite crawling, but he is happy on all four's and is starting to pull himself around with his arms.

He is always jolly.

Merry Christmas

We are lucky to be friends with the "real Santa". He took time out of his busy schedule and made a special visit to our home and took pictures with Grant in front of our tree. It was so fun.

Jamie and I take pictures with Santa every year. It was amazing to be able to have Grant with us this year. It is going to be a great Christmas!
